5 Easy Installation Steps to a Great Christmas tree Experience!

PACKING LIST: 1 Bowl, 3 braces w/brackets, 3 square washers, 3 carriage bolts, 3 lock nuts, 1 plastic Pivot Post, 4 wood screws, 2 spare Pivot Post and 2 screws.
You will need a Phillips screwdriver (manual or electric) and a 7/16” wrench .

Step 1

· Put a Square Washer on a Carriage Bolt  (1).

· Put the bolt thru the slot from the underside of the rim of the bowl. (2)

· Place the Swivel Bracket over the end of the Carriage Bolt and thread a nut onto it.  (3)

(2)

Step 2

· Move each Swivel Bracket to the mid-point of the slot so that the carriage bolt is lined up with the mid-point indicator holes. (3)

· Swivel the free end of the Brace toward the center of the bowl and tighten the nut keeping the Brace at the mid-point.  (4)

· Tighten the nut to keep the Brace at the mid-point. (5)

Step 3

· Your tree should have a reasonably straight fresh cut across the bottom of the trunk.

· In the center of the end of the trunk put a screw thru the Nylon Pivot Post and screw it into the trunk until the Pivot Post touches the trunk. (7,8).

· Fold the Braces out away from the center of the Bowl (6).

(6)

Step 4

· Lift the tree and place the Pivot Post in the hole in the center of the bowl. (9)

· Hold the tree vertical and fold the first Brace toward the tree so that the Swivel Bracket is flat against the trunk.  Put a Screw  in the hole and screw it into the tree.  Repeat for each Brace. (10)

(7)

(8)

Step 5

· Take a look to see if it is still reasonably straight.

· Loosen each of the nuts that hold the Braces to the bowl rim. (5)

· Gently tilt the tree in the direction that makes it straighter.

· When you are satisfied tighten each nut to keep it in that position. (5)

Put plain water in the bowl and check for refill daily.  TAKE CARE TO KEEP ELECTRICAL CORDS AND TREE SKIRTS OUT OF WATER!

At the end of the season  take your screwdriver and remove each screw from the tree then lift up and take outside for disposal.  You can now safely take the Standtastic and any remaining water outside for easy disposal.  REMEMBER TO REMOVE THE PIVOT POST! Clean and store your Standtastic until next year.
